“Day by day, as they spent much time together in the temple, they broke bread at home and ate their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the good will of all the people.  And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved.” ~~ Acts 2: 46-47.

First Presbyterian invites its members to join in a joyful community of faith that embraces cross-generational fellowship both inside and outside the walls of the church. In the tradition of the early church, members work, play, and worship together with thanksgiving.

Community is what we do best at First Presbyterian: building relationships, learning from each other, supporting one another in our weaknesses, encouraging members to develop their talents, nurturing our children, and cherishing our seniors. Through Sunday School, Bible studies, mission activities, shared meals, committee work, and leadership councils, we keep our focus on teamwork and mutual respect.
Specific opportunities for fellowship include Wednesday Food & Friends, Sunday morning fellowship time (9:30 – 10:45), summer picnics at member’s homes, seasonal congregational meals, an annual ice cream social, Easter morning breakfasts, special concerts, Presbyterian Women’s gatherings, and team/committee work.
