Christ calls us to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. Therefore, we show God’s love to others because Christ has bestowed his grace on us. Our Mission Statement is “We are a mission church, historically and intentionally diverse, daily sent on Christ’s mission of love and grace.”

 Together, the church and its mission team reach out in the following ways:

  • Collection for and recent mission to flood-ravaged Greenbrier County where team members worked out of the WV Pastoral Counseling Center;
  • Recent mission to assist Bluefield College students move into their dorm rooms for the fall term;
  • Hosted meal for of large Presbyterian mission team on assignment at the Wade Center
  • Recent donation of supplies to the Wade Center
  • Regular support for the Bluefield Union Mission –- 45+ prepared meals delivered weekly (Second Serving) for lunch patrons at the Mission;
  • Annual participation in Heaven Sent Ministries’ Hunger Challenge food-packaging
  • Annual drives to collect women’s and children’s underclothing for Abused Women’s shelters;
  • Annual participation in Operation Christmas Child shoebox campaign;
  • Annual assistance to Friends Unlimited during the group’s spring formal for disabled adults;
  • Annual support for Bluestone Camp and Conference Center;
  • Annual support for Davis-Stuart School and Group Homes for troubled/homeless teens;
  • Annual support of the missions of the Presbytery of West Virginia.
  • Hosts daily meetings of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous
